Interesting! Yaw rate, huh? Yes, I think that error was stored in the error memory as well. So, same issue, the lateral acceleration sensor? Anything I can do myself before heading to the repair shop?

Yep, same story. In my case, it was the electronic control unit. A defective lateral sensor will mess with the ABS and vehicle stability big time. Honestly, given the complexity of the system, I'd bite the bullet and take it to a trusted workshop. Could save you a lot of headache and potential for further damage.

Roger that! Thanks a bunch for the insights! Workshop it is. Just got a quote for the repair: around 1000€. Ouch! But at least I know what's up thanks to your help!

Whoa, that ABS issue sounds familiar! I've got a RAV4 Hybrid too. Was the diagnostic scan also throwing up any yaw rate sensor errors? If so, it might be related to vehicle stability control.
