RAV4 cold start misfire

My 2014 Toyota RAV4 with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. The engine runs poorly during cold starts, feels like a misfire, and starts very poorly. It has 88899 km on it. Has anyone experienced this? Could this be a fuel delivery issue?

Sounds like classic cold start injector problems. Rough idle points that way. When was the last time you checked your fuel system? Any engine misfire codes?

The injection valve or the injector itself is likely defective, causing the issues. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to confirm, as fuel system issues can be complex.

I took your advice and visited my local mechanic. You were spot on! It was indeed the cold start injector. The repair, including parts and labor, came out to 515€. Thanks a million for your help!
