RAV4 Sun Blind Problem

My 2006 Toyota RAV4 with a gasoline engine has a sun blind that's stuck. It won't retract or extend, and there's an error code. I think the motor is defective. Has anyone else had this?

I had a similar issue with my RAV4, though I don't remember the error code. My sunblind was stuck too. Did you check the fuse first? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause the motor to fail.

Thanks, I checked the fuses, and they're fine. So, it probably is the motor. Did you replace it yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

I didn't want to do it myself since I'm not that experienced. I took it to a local shop. They said it was the motor and replaced it. It cost me around 300€, but it works now. I'd recommend getting it checked by a professional.

Thanks. I'll take it to a shop to check the motor. I was quoted 330€ for the repair, which seems reasonable. Hopefully, that fixes it.
