RAV4 washer fluid warning
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Toyota RAV4 diesel was experiencing a persistent 'Washer fluid low' warning despite a full reservoir, and the windshield washer system was not functioning. Possible causes suggested included a blockage in the spray jets or a failed washer motor. The issue was resolved by a mechanic who found the washer fluid level was low, topped it up, and cleared the error codes, restoring functionality.

How do I check the washer motor? What should I look for to know if it's failed?

If you don't hear any sound from it when you try to spray, that's a bad sign. Honestly, messing with the motor is like open-heart surgery for your car's wiper system. Best to get it checked out by a workshop.

I took it to a local mechanic. Turns out the wiper water level was just low, causing the error. They topped it up and cleared the codes. It works now. Cost 25€.

Sounds like a blockage. Have you checked the spray jets for debris? Or maybe the washer motor is dead.
