RC Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Lexus RC experienced a complete failure of the central locking system, with no response from the key fob and manual locking also non-functional. An error code related to the security system was detected, but fuses were intact. The issue was traced to a defective plug connection in the wiring harness to the door control module, which was resolved at a repair shop.

Interesting, thanks for the tip! Where exactly is that module located? And how involved is it to check the wiring?

On the Astra, it was inside the door. You had to remove the door panel to access it. Check the plug connection and the cable itself. I am not familiar with your car. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop if you're not comfortable doing that.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the shop as suggested and you were spot on! Turned out to be a defective plug connection. Repair cost me 95€. Cheers!

I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. The remote locking just died. Turns out the issue was in the wiring harness where it connects to the door control module. Have you checked the connection to the module?
