RC Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2019 Lexus RC's cruise control stopped working, with an error stored in the memory, suggesting a deeper issue. Initial checks of the throttle position sensor cable and plug showed no obvious problems. Suggestions included checking the fuse box and considering a faulty clock spring. Ultimately, a workshop identified and repaired a defective cable/plug connection, resolving the issue.

Good call! I hadn't gotten around to checking the fuses yet. Which fuse was it on your V70? Just so I have a better idea of where to start looking in the Lexus fuse box diagram.

Honestly, I can't recall the exact fuse number on the Volvo. But it controlled more than just the cruise, so other stuff was acting weird too. If it's not that, could be the clock spring. But yeah, workshop is probably your best bet.

Cheers. You were right, the workshop guys found a defective cable / plug connection and fixed it in no time. Cost me just 95€, so I'm not complaining. Back on the road!

Interesting... I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V70. Cruise control died, and it turned out to be a dodgy fuse. Have you checked the fuse box? Might be worth a look before you go tearing into anything more complex.
