RC Power Window Issue
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2017 Lexus RC, the power windows stopped functioning, displaying an error related to window regulator initialization. The fuses were checked and found to be fine. The issue likely requires re-initialization of the window regulator using a diagnostic tool, as basic reset attempts were unsuccessful. Scheduling a workshop appointment is recommended to address the problem effectively.

Thanks! I tried holding the switch down for about 10 seconds, and also up, but nothing. Is there a specific procedure or duration? Or could it be a faulty motor or switch?

Sounds like you tried the basic reset. It didn't work for me either. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. I took it to a shop, and they fixed it quickly. Could be a faulty motor or switch, but it's tough to say without diagnostic tools. Better safe than sorry with car electronics!

Thanks! I'm scheduling a workshop appointment. The window regulator needed re-initialization with a diagnostic tool. Cost me 290€.

I also have an RC, though I don't remember the year. I had a similar issue after some electrical work. The window regulator probably needs to be reset. Did you try any reset procedures? Like holding the switch down? Or did you just assume something was broken?
