RC rear ventilation flap issue

Thanks, that's helpful! Where exactly would I find the wiring harness and connectors for the rear ventilation flap actuator? Is it easily accessible, or do I need to remove interior panels to get to it?

You'll likely need to remove some of the rear interior panels to access the actuator and its wiring. I don't have the exact diagrams for your RC, but it's usually behind the rear seats or in the side panels. If you're not comfortable with that, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. A damaged connector can sometimes mess up the CAN bus system.

Thanks for the advice! I checked as much as I could, but ended up taking it to the shop. Turns out, it was indeed a defective connector on the flap actuator. They replaced it, and the AC is working perfectly again. The total repair cost was 95€.

Sounds like a classic rear HVAC issue. The ventilation flap controls airflow to the back. Since you mention an error code and cooling problems, a faulty cable or plug connection is definitely plausible. Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors for any obvious damage or corrosion? Sometimes a simple visual inspection can reveal the problem.
