RC Tire Pressure Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus RC hybrid displayed a tire pressure sensor fault, indicating low tire pressure. The likely cause, given the car's age and mileage, was a depleted battery in one of the tire pressure sensors. It was suggested to check sensor readings via an OBDII scanner to identify the faulty sensor. The issue was confirmed by a workshop, which found a sensor with a dead battery, leading to its replacement and reprogramming.

Thanks! I haven't checked the sensor readings via OBDII. Can you explain the procedure and what values to expect?

You'll need an OBDII scanner that supports live data. Look at the voltage output of each sensor. A much lower voltage on one suggests battery depletion. A workshop can confirm and replace the sensor, which is almost certainly the issue.

Confirmed! The workshop found a faulty sensor with a dead battery. Replacement and programming cost 280€. Thanks for the help!

Given the age and mileage, the tire pressure sensor battery is likely the problem. Have you checked the individual sensor readings via the OBDII port? That might pinpoint the faulty one.
