RCZ Bluetooth Connection Issue

Infotainment system on my 2015 Peugeot RCZ (gasoline engine) is acting up. My smartphone refuses to connect, no matter what I try. I scanned the car, and it's throwing an error code. Incorrect pairing maybe? Has anyone else experienced function restrictions like this? I'm a bit lost.

I had a similar problem with my RCZ a while back. Was it a complete refusal to connect, or was it intermittent? Check your Bluetooth settings on both your phone and the car. Also, have you recently installed new software on your phone?

Thanks for the quick reply! It's a complete refusal – the phone doesn't even see the car's Bluetooth signal. I have checked the Bluetooth settings multiple times, and even tried other phones. I installed new software on my phone last week, but I'm not sure if that is related. Could this be something related to the ignition system?

Yeah, sounds very similar to what I went through. The software installation on your phone may well be the cause. I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop; they might be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took your advice and went to a local garage. Turns out it was a corrupted Bluetooth module in the car's infotainment system after all. They reset it and installed new firmware, and now it's working perfectly! Cost me 45€, not too bad. Thanks again!
