RCZ Check Engine Light Air Leak

No engine stalling, but the idle seems rougher than usual. I'll listen for hissing sounds. Where should I focus when checking the air intake area?

If the idle is rough, it strengthens the air leak theory. Focus on the hoses connected to the intake manifold and the air pump. Vacuum hoses can become brittle and crack with that mileage. A smoke test at a workshop might be the quickest way to pinpoint the leak.

Thanks for the advice! It was a defective hose connection, like we thought. The repair cost 175€. Now it runs smoothly!

An air leak could cause that. Is the engine stalling, or are you seeing any idle problems? A faulty hose connection can mess with the manifold pressure readings and trigger the check engine light. Check for hissing sounds around the air intake area.
