RCZ Cruise Control Error

My 2013 Peugeot RCZ with a gasoline engine has a cruise control problem. The speedometer throws an error, the cruise control is non-functional, and the error memory has a fault logged. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else tackled this?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my RCZ. I'd start by checking the fuse box first; a blown fuse could cause those symptoms. If not, it might be the actuator itself. Is the error message consistent, or does it come and go?

Thanks for the tip! The error message is pretty consistent; it's there almost every time I start the car. Where exactly is the actuator located, and is it easy to access? I'm fairly handy with tools, but I don't want to start ripping things apart without a clue!

Okay, consistent error points toward a more serious issue than a loose connection. Tracing the actuator cable in the RCZ is a pain; it's buried. Given that and the consistent error, I'd seriously consider taking it to a workshop. Could save you a lot of headache, trust me.

Roger that. Sounds like the voice of experience! I appreciate the insight. Took it to the shop; turns out it was indeed a faulty connection. Cost me 95€, which isn't too bad. Thanks again for your help!
