RCZ DPF Failure

My 2011 Peugeot RCZ diesel is giving me grief. Losing power and blowing smoke when I accelerate. Seems like the DPF is shot. Anyone else had this?

DPF issues are common. Has the engine light come on? Have you tried a forced regeneration?

Engine light is on, yeah. Forced regen didn't do anything. Could it be something else?

Sounds like the DPF is toast, unfortunately. If regeneration isn't working, backpressure is probably too high. I would consider getting it looked at.

Cheers. Vehicle inspection confirmed. New DPF needed. Cost me 1550€. Ouch.
