RCZ Emergency Call System Error
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Peugeot RCZ owner experienced an error with the emergency call system, indicated by a message on the speedometer and a warning light. The suspected cause was a bad cable or plug. Another person suggested checking the fuses related to the telematics unit, as a similar issue in a BMW was resolved by replacing a blown fuse. Ultimately, a workshop diagnosed the problem as a faulty connector, which was repaired for 95€, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the quick response. Which fuse are you referring to on the BMW? I'll check the RCZ's fuse box diagram to see if there's a corresponding fuse.

On my BMW, it was fuse number 47, located in the rear fuse box. But honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. Diagnosing those CAN bus issues can be a real headache without the proper tools. I spent hours troubleshooting mine before giving up.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with the emergency call system in my old BMW 3 Series. Same symptoms - warning lights and error messages. Did you check the fuses related to the telematics unit? Sometimes it's just a blown fuse.
