RCZ Engine Running Lean

My 2011 Peugeot RCZ with a gasoline engine is running lean. Reduced power, check engine light, rough running, and jerking during acceleration. It has 21852 km. Could a defective injection valve or injector be the cause?

Oh, that sounds rough! I had similar issues with my old Opel Astra, though it wasn't quite the same. Check engine light, power loss, the works. Have you checked your catalytic converter or maybe the EGR valve? Could be something simple before you start tearing into the fuel injectors.

Thank you for your input. I am curious, what was the eventual diagnosis for your Opel Astra when it exhibited these symptoms?

Turned out to be a dodgy oxygen sensor throwing everything off! But honestly, with those fuel injection symptoms, you might want to get it checked at a workshop. Fuel injectors can be tricky.

I appreciate the advice. Following a thorough diagnostic assessment, the issue was indeed a defective fuel injector, resulting in a repair cost of 515€ Thank you for your assistance.
