RCZ Engine Stalling at Idle

Hi, I've got a 2014 Peugeot RCZ with a gasoline engine and it's giving me headaches. The engine stalls at idle, the check engine light is on, and there's an error stored in the memory. Mileage is at 51399 km. Anyone experienced something similar?

Hey, I had something like that happen with my RCZ. Is the idle really rough, almost like it wants to die? It could be the idle control valve.

Yeah, that's exactly it! Really rough idle, like it's struggling. How did you fix it? Was it expensive?

Well, I tried cleaning the intake myself, but it didn't really solve the problem. Turns out it was heavily contaminated. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They replaced the valve. Cost me around 425€ if I remember correctly. Best to get it checked out.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm headed to the workshop then. Turns out it WAS the idle air control valve, just like you said. Intake was indeed heavily contaminated. Got it fixed for 425€.
