RCZ Radio Reception Issue
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Peugeot RCZ experienced radio reception issues, with error messages and audio cutouts, linked to an antenna error code. A defective antenna was identified as the core problem. A similar issue in another vehicle suggested the possibility of a failing antenna amplifier. The solution involved professional diagnosis and repair, confirming the antenna defect, with the repair costing approximately 255€.

An antenna amplifier? I didn't know that existed! Where is it located? Can I check it myself, or is it a workshop job? Could this explain the static noise with a weak FM signal?

The amplifier location varies; check the service manual. A visual inspection is possible, but a full diagnosis needs special equipment. Given the error codes, I'd recommend a qualified workshop. The repair cost me 255€.

Thanks! I suspected it needed professional help. I booked it in. The antenna was defective! Parts and labour were around 255€. All working now!

Your issue sounds like one I had with my 2018 Volvo V90. Same symptoms: error messages, audio failures, and an antenna fault code. For me, it was a failing antenna amplifier. Have you checked the amplifier’s connectivity and power? Do you know the diagnostic procedures for the RCZ antenna system?
