Fuses are fine, and the switch light works. What specific issues did you have with your BMW and what did you do to diagnose it?

My BMW's switch lit up and the fuses were good too. It turned out to be a faulty relay and corroded wiring to the rear window. I'd take it to a workshop with electrical diagnostics. They can test the circuit and pinpoint the problem. Could be a bad earth point. Saved me a headache!

Took it for diagnostics. It was a defective battery causing error codes. Repair and replacement cost 290€. Thanks for the advice.

I had a similar problem with my old BMW. Rear defroster just quit. Have you checked the fuses for the rear window heating system? Does the light on the switch come on when you turn it on? It could be the switch itself.
