Hey there, That's a relief to hear and really echoes my own suspicions. Thanks for sharing your similar ordeal, it's strangely comforting to know it's not a rare issue. Man, these tech hitches are such a headache! By the sound of things, it's definitely a trip to the mechanic for me too. Just a couple of things - Do you happen to recall what hit your wallet for that repair work? Just so I have an idea of what to expect. And have you come across any other nuisances related to this issue since? Appreciate your help and take care! Cheers!

Hey, Heard you loud and clear. As far as the blow to my wallet goes, the repair cost of fixing the cable connection came around to about 155€. Not exactly a steal, I know, but worth the peace of mind in the end, I reckon! Thankfully, this ain't one of those "patch and pray" jobs so the cost is a bit more upfront. Can't really put a price on sorted Navigation and Audio systems though, can we? Oh, and about the Nav system thingy you mentioned, the naughty image data? Yeah, it all got sorted out when I went to the mechanic. Hasn't acted up since and the navigation's been smooth as silk. So, don't hesitate on taking your Arkana to the mechanic. Sure, it's a bit of a drag, but at least afterwards, you'll have a car that's right as rain! Drive safe! Cheers!

Hey, Massive thanks for such a detailed breakdown! Good to know I'm looking at the 155€ ballpark and not something crazy out of the league. Trust me, would happily shell out that much for bringing the good ol' navigation and audio system back to life. So, taking your advice on this one and penciling a trip to the local mechanic in. Your positive experience does reassure me. Fingers crossed mine's just as smooth and I end up with a perfectly functioning Arkana to drive about. Stay safe on the roads too! Cheers!

Hey, Sounds like something I've been through with my 2018 Renault Kadjar a while ago. Had the same issue, the navigation and audio systems froze. Couldn't make heads or tails of it, but had to run it down to my local mechanic. Turns out, it was a faulty cable connection, just like you suspected. My mechanic said it happens sometimes with the car line's multimedia system, so you're not alone. Yup, it was indeed a bummer, cause it's not like some petty minor fault but fortunately, with a competent mechanic the whole job's a breeze. Got the cables fixed, checked all the connections and boom, good as new! It seems to be a fairly common issue, so don't sweat it too much. Just make sure your garage guy knows his stuff. Stay safe! Cheers!
