Hey, thanks for your tip! It's great that you had the same problem and were able to solve it. If it really is just the battery, that would be a real relief. Do you happen to remember what you paid for the new battery and installation? And did another problem occur after the repair or was everything OK then? Greetings, Peter

Hi Peter, sure, no problem! I paid €45 for the jump start and the repair, which fixed the problem with the transport mode. After the visit to the mechanic, everything ran like clockwork again. So, it seems that all is well with the car and there have been no further problems. Hopefully it's just as easy and affordable for you! Greetings back

Hello, that sounds feasible and relatively inexpensive. Thank you very much for your prompt and helpful feedback! Your experience makes it easier for me to decide what to do next. So I'll go to the garage tomorrow and have them check whether it's also the battery. Thanks again and best regards, Peter

Hey Peter, I had a similar problem with my Renault Mégane (2005, diesel). It's not a problem to do it yourself, but you need a bit of time. In my case it was the battery that gave up the ghost. The symptoms were that the warning lights came on and some functions were not available. The battery couldn't provide enough power to supply all the car's systems, so errors were stored. After jump-starting the car, I went straight to the garage and they fitted a new battery. The problem was then solved, the stored errors could be deleted and all functions ran as normal again. So I would recommend having your battery checked. Hope that helps! Regards,
