Renault Latitude reduced engine power

Hi, I have a 2011 Renault Latitude with a diesel engine. I'm experiencing reduced engine power and a fault code keeps popping up. Mileage is at 142025 km. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sounds like a dodgy situation! Have you had the diagnostic code read? Knowing the actual DTC will give you a much better idea of what’s going on. Could be anything from a sensor to a fuel issue.

Yeah, I had a car diagnostic done and an error was stored in the error memory. Could a faulty chip tuning be the cause? I heard it can mess things up.

Bingo! Faulty chip tuning can definitely trigger those symptoms on your Renault. Especially aftermarket ones. I'd bet good money that's your culprit. Best get it checked by a pro to be sure!

Thanks, I'll take it to the workshop to get it sorted out. Turns out the chip tuning was indeed faulty. Cost me 180€ for the repair. Appreciate the help!
