Renault Master engine running lean

I'm having some trouble with my 2021 Renault Master diesel. It feels like the engine is running lean. I've noticed reduced power, the check engine light is on, and the engine runs rough, especially when accelerating. Mileage is at 85615 km. I've checked for obvious vacuum leaks and cleaned the throttle body, but no improvement. Could a faulty injector be the culprit?

I had similar symptoms with my Renault Master, though I can't recall the exact year. Have you checked your spark plugs? They could be causing the issue, or maybe there is an issue with the intake manifold?

Thanks for the quick reply. Spark plugs wouldn't be the issue as this is a diesel engine. Could you elaborate on what the intake manifold issue was in your case? Was it a leak or something else?

Ah, sorry, missed that it was diesel. In my case, it turned out to be the injectors. I didn't have the tools to diagnose it properly myself, so I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed the defective injection valve/injector. Best get it checked before you start replacing things.
