Renault Master Temperature Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Renault Master diesel is experiencing temperature reading issues, a check engine light, and slow engine warm-up. A blocked cooling grille is suspected as a potential cause. A similar issue was resolved by replacing a blown fuse, possibly caused by the blocked grille. Booking an appointment with a technician to inspect the cooling system and fuses is suggested as a potential solution.

When you say a fuse, could you clarify which one? I've checked the main fuses for the cooling system, but maybe I missed one. It would help to know where to look before I get it inspected.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you which fuse it was specifically; I'm no expert. I just took it to a workshop. They found the faulty fuse, swapped it, and said that the cooling grille being blocked probably caused it to blow. It wasn't too expensive.

I appreciate your input. I'll book an appointment with a technician to check the cooling system and the fuses. It's good to know it might be a simple fix, potentially saving me money. The repair cost was only 52€.

Renault Master, eh? Sounds familiar. I had something similar, though I didn't pay too much attention to the dash lights at first. Was your engine running hotter than usual, or did it just take ages to warm up? I eventually found a fuse gone in mine and I'm wondering if that could have been the cause.
