Thanks! I haven't checked those specifically. Where exactly are those pressure sensors located? Are they easy to get to without special tools?

Right, the pressure sensors are usually located on the intake manifold or on the turbocharger itself, or the intercooler piping. If you have no idea what you're doing, should you be fiddling with it? Given all the symptoms, especially the stalling, and the fact that it's a turbo engine, it really sounds like the electrical bypass valve on the turbocharger is defective. You should probably take it to a workshop. It's going to cost you around 250€.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local mechanic. You were spot on – faulty electrical bypass valve. Repair cost was indeed around 250€. Runs like new now!

Sounds like you've got a boost leak somewhere. That whistling/hissing is a classic symptom. Is it possible it's a split hose somewhere? Have you checked the turbo wastegate actuator or any of the pressure sensor connections? It's also worth trying to feel around all the hoses for air escaping while the engine is running - carefully!
