Thanks! Where exactly is the clock spring connection located? Is it an easy DIY fix, or am I better off taking it to a workshop?

It's behind the steering wheel. Honestly, messing with the steering and airbag system can be risky if you're not 100% confident. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop to be on the safe side. I had to pay 95€ for the repair.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a workshop and it turned out to be a defective cable, just like you suggested. They fixed it for around that price. I appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen on my SM5. Check the pedal switch and also the clock spring connection, it may be a connection problem with a plug. If the brake light switch is faulty, it can also knock out the cruise control. Speed sensor cable may also be defective. Did you check those?
