Good shout! The cable looks okay, but I'll give the plug a proper inspection. Was the fix on your BMW straightforward once you found the faulty connection?

Indeed, the repair involved replacing the corroded connector and cleaning up the wiring. Although it resolved the warning lights, given the symptoms and potential electrical gremlins, a workshop visit might offer a more comprehensive diagnosis.

Thanks for the pointer! Turns out it WAS the connector. 95€ later I had a shiny new connector installed, and the Spider is back to its old tricks! Much appreciated!

I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series. The symptoms you describe mirror what I experienced. Have you checked the sensor's cable and plug connection for any corrosion or damage?
