Renault Spider Radiator Plug Issue

Hey, my 1998 Renault Spider (gasoline engine) is acting up. 158432 km on the clock. Radiator oil pressure seems off, transmission indicator and check engine lights are on. It's stuck in emergency mode, not shifting right, gearbox slippage, unclean shifts, and grinding noises. Error memory has a fault stored. Suspecting a bad cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 1998 Renault Spider is experiencing issues with the radiator oil pressure, transmission indicator, and check engine lights, causing it to be stuck in emergency mode with shifting problems and grinding noises. The problem is suspected to be a bad cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by fixing a faulty plug connection to the radiator, which was confirmed and repaired at a workshop.

Sounds familiar. I have a Spider too. Had a similar issue with mine a while back. Is the oil cooler damaged or leaking?

Thanks! Did a quick leak test, nothing obvious. Oil cooler looks fine at first glance. Where was the damage on yours? Cooling fan? Pressure sensor?

Didn't bother checking myself, I took it straight to the workshop and they fixed it. But yeah, sounds like the same problem.

Okay, thanks. Shop confirmed it was a faulty plug connection to the radiator. Cost me 95€ to sort.
