Renault Wind battery issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Renault Wind owner experienced issues with a weak battery and flickering lights, suspecting the battery sensor might be the cause. The problem was confirmed by checking the battery voltage, which should be around 12.6 volts when off and 13.7 to 14.7 volts when running. The solution involved replacing the faulty battery sensor, resolving the issue.

Okay, thanks! How do I do that exactly? Where should the voltage be in both cases? Is there a specific range I should be looking for?

A healthy battery should read around 12.6 volts when off. When running, the voltage should be higher, around 13.7 to 14.7 volts, indicating the alternator is charging the battery. Given your symptoms and if those voltage readings are off, it's likely the battery sensor. Consider taking it to a workshop for diagnostics.

Thanks so much! Took your advice and went to a workshop. Turns out it WAS the battery sensor! Cost me 315€ to replace. Everything's working great now. Appreciate the help!

It's possible the battery sensor is the issue. Have you checked the battery's voltage when the engine is off and when it's running? This could provide more information.
