Renault Wind Fog Sensor and Electrical Issues

My 2011 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine is showing a fog sensor error. The A/C isn't working, the spray nozzles freeze easily, and the mirror heating is dead. Diagnostics point to a cable or plug issue. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar! I've got a Wind too, and I had some weird electrical gremlins going on. The A/C refusing to kick in, and the mirror heating being temperamental... does your dashboard light up with any warnings?

Thanks. Yes, there's a persistent dashboard warning light for the sensor. Did you also have problems with the windscreen washer jets?

Yep, washers were useless in the cold. Honestly, tracing electrical faults on these can be a pain. I’d get it to a workshop, they'll sort it quicker than you pulling your hair out. Sounds like the same issue I had.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. I'm booking it in with a technician. The estimated repair cost is about 95€, which seems reasonable. Thanks again!
