Thanks. Yes, there's a persistent dashboard warning light for the sensor. Did you also have problems with the windscreen washer jets?

Yep, washers were useless in the cold. Honestly, tracing electrical faults on these can be a pain. I’d get it to a workshop, they'll sort it quicker than you pulling your hair out. Sounds like the same issue I had.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. I'm booking it in with a technician. The estimated repair cost is about 95€, which seems reasonable. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I've got a Wind too, and I had some weird electrical gremlins going on. The A/C refusing to kick in, and the mirror heating being temperamental... does your dashboard light up with any warnings?
