Renault Wind Height Control Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Renault Wind is experiencing height control issues, indicated by a warning light, misaligned low beams, and a bumpy ride. The suspected cause is a defective control rod on the load sensor. Control module? I haven't looked at that yet. I thought it was a mechanical issue with the load sensor control rod. How did you determine it was the control module? Are there specific tests I should run, or am I just guessing with a multimeter?

I didn't figure it out myself. I spent ages checking every connection, but nothing worked. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They plugged it in, ran diagnostics, and sorted it out quickly. It saved me a lot of trouble, so that's an option.

That’s what I was afraid of. I was hoping to avoid the dealership and fix it myself, but it sounds like I might have to book it in. Turns out, you were right, it was the control rod! 110€ later and she's running smoothly again.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Wind too. I had the exact same symptoms a while back – wonky headlight aim, bouncy ride, and uneven height. I was convinced it was something major with the air suspension. Did you check the control module, maybe it's a software glitch?
