Renault Wind Overheating

My 2011 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine is taking a long time to reach normal operating temperature. The temperature readings seem off, and the check engine light is on. Could a restricted cooling grille cause this?

I had something similar happen in my Wind. Check the cooling fan fuse, if it has one. It's worth a quick look.

Thanks. Where is that fuse located, and what amperage should it be? I don't know much about car electrical systems.

I can't recall the exact fuse location or rating. It was a while ago. If the fuse isn't the problem, it might be a partially blocked radiator or something affecting the cooling system airflow. You might be better off having it looked at by someone who knows what they're doing. Probably something simple though.

Thanks. I'll check the fuse, but I'll probably get a technician to look at it, especially with the check engine light. I got it fixed at a local garage for 52€. The cooling grille was the problem!
