Error codes are clean, nothing stored. Fuel pressure is within spec according to my OBD reader. Given your experience with the Peugeot, what were the specific symptoms that led you to suspect the injectors, and what was the ultimate solution? Was it a simple cleaning, or did replacement become necessary?

Ah, a clean OBD eliminates a few possibilities. In my case, the erratic idle and noticeable fuel consumption increase were the key indicators. Ultimately, I had to concede defeat and take it to a workshop. They confirmed the clogging with specialized equipment. Given the symptoms and mileage, a professional diagnosis might be the most cost-effective route. A proper injector service or replacement could resolve all these issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the insight. I will proceed with a workshop visit to have the injectors professionally assessed. The estimated repair cost is around 515€, which includes replacement of the faulty nozzle.

That does sound frustrating! I had a similar experience with my old Peugeot 207. Poor starting, rough idle, and a dip in power – ring any bells? In my case, the culprit was indeed a dirty fuel injector. Have you checked for any error codes? Do you know the fuel pressure?
