Renault Wind Power Steering Issue

Alright, I'm stumped. My 2011 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. The power steering is acting up. I'm getting a vibrating, shaky steering wheel, and the handling feels super spongy. Plus, there's an error code stored. Steering takes way more effort, almost like the power steering is completely gone sometimes! I'm guessing it's something electrical, maybe a bad cable or plug connection?

Steering pump, eh? Hmm... I was leaning towards the electric steering system, but the pump is a good shout. Was yours completely failing, or just intermittent? Any other symptoms you remember?

Yeah, it was intermittent at first, then got progressively worse. I nursed it for a while, but it was not safe. Finally gave in and took it to a workshop. They said it was indeed a faulty connector. Cost me 95€, which I felt was okay. I'd say get it checked out sooner rather than later.
