I haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet - good shout, will give that a go. The diagnostic code I'm getting is related to a communication error within the telematics module. I'm not sure which pins I should check for continuity. Any thoughts on that?

A communication error, huh? Yeah, sounds like a cable or plug connection issue, just as I suspected. I've seen that before cause all sorts of havoc. Honestly, tracing those wires can be a real pain, especially if you're not super familiar with the Wind's wiring diagram. My gut feeling? It might be worth getting it checked out by a workshop. They'll have the proper tools and diagrams to pinpoint the fault quickly.

You're probably right. I disconnected the battery, but the error is still there. I took it to my local garage, and they found a defective plug connection, just like you said. They replaced the connector, cleared the error code, and everything's working fine now. Total cost was 95€.

Whoa, Renault Wind telematics acting up? That's a new one for me! I've seen similar issues on other cars, usually stemming from a dodgy connection somewhere. Before you panic, have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if it resets the control module? Also, what diagnostic codes are you pulling? Knowing those might give us a better clue.
