Ridgeline fault memory lock active
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Honda Ridgeline is displaying a 'fault memory lock active' error in the ECU diagnostics, with no other symptoms. The issue arose after a battery drain and subsequent jump-start, leading to suspicions of undervoltage causing the error. A similar case suggests that a jump-start might have caused a voltage spike, potentially damaging the computer. The recommended solution is to have a professional check for any damage and clear the error codes.

Now that you mention it, yeah, the battery was completely drained a couple of weeks ago because I left the lights on. I jump-started it, and it's been fine since, but that's around when I started noticing the error. Could a jump start cause the memory lock?

Yep, sounds like the same thing. A jump-start fried something in the computer. It is a common Ridgeline issue. Honestly, I tried clearing the codes myself, but it kept coming back. Bit the bullet and took it to a shop

Thanks for the insight! Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop. I'll get them to check for damage from the voltage spike. They quoted me 240€ for the repair - seems reasonable. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar. I have a Ridgeline too. I had something similar happen last year. Did you recently have a dead battery or any issues with the electrical system before this started?
