Ridgeline Terminal 15 Ignition Positive Interruption
Summary of the thread
The conversation revolves around an electrical issue with a 2022 Honda Ridgeline, where an error indicates an interruption of Terminal 15 ignition positive, preventing engine combustion. The problem was suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by addressing a faulty connection in the fuse box, suggesting that professional diagnostics might be necessary. Ultimately, the issue was traced to a degraded connector in the wiring harness near the fuse box, which was repaired by replacing the connector.

A voltage drop is plausible. However, could you elaborate on which specific relay switch was implicated in your situation, and whether the error memory also referenced Terminal 15?

I don't remember which specific relay it was, and honestly, I didn't have the diagnostic tools to check the error memory myself. I just took it to a reputable workshop. They traced it back to a faulty connection somewhere in the fuse box, if I'm not mistaken. Given the potential complexity, I suggest professional diagnostics to pinpoint the exact source of the interruption.

I appreciate your insights. The fault was indeed traced to a degraded connector within the wiring harness, proximal to the fuse box, resulting in an open circuit. Repair entailed connector replacement and testing for 95€. Thank you for your assistance.

I own a Ridgeline as well, and that sounds vaguely familiar. If I recall, similar symptoms manifested when I had a significant voltage drop due to a corroded battery terminal. Have you inspected the battery terminals and associated wiring harness for any signs of corrosion or damage? Perhaps a relay switch is failing?
