Rifter AC failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot Rifter experienced a complete air conditioning failure, with a warning light and the system not activating. A faulty AC control unit, huh? How did you figure that out? And how much did it set you back to fix it? I'm bracing for the worst here. Anything else I should check before I take it back to the shop?

The compressor wasn't getting the signal to turn on. My guy traced it back to the control unit. He tested everything else first to rule out refrigerant, the compressor itself, etc. It ended up being cheaper than replacing the whole AC system. Best bet is to get a proper diagnosis from a workshop before throwing parts at it.

Thanks! I took it to a different workshop, and they confirmed it was the AC control unit. Cost me 980€ to replace, but at least it's fixed! I appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar AC unit issues with my Rifter. Is the compressor not kicking on at all? For me, it ended up being a faulty AC control unit.
