BMW, eh? Interesting! Was it a specific series or model? And did the BMW AUC sensor location help you pinpoint the problem with the Rifter too?

It was a 3 series. The location wasn't much help since it is a different car but the error message was similar. After checking all the fuses and measuring the voltage, I went to a workshop. They replaced the sensor, and all was good.

I appreciate the help! Just got it back from the shop; they confirmed it was a faulty connection to the AUC sensor, just like we thought. 95€ and a bit of waiting later, and the blower's working again. Crisis averted!

I had a similar issue with my BMW. The air conditioning sensor failed and the blower motor didn't work anymore. The error message pointed to the odor sensor. Check the wiring and the connector for corrosion.
