Rifter brake pedal feedback

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2022 Peugeot Rifter (gasoline engine) with 271152 km on the clock. The brake pedal feels off. I'm getting strange feedback. I've checked the brake pads, and they seem fine. I suspect undervoltage may be affecting the brake system, especially the ABS. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I have a Rifter too, though not a 2022 model. I had a similar feeling in the brake pedal a while back. Did you check the brake calipers? In my case, one of them was sticking. It wasn't obvious at first glance.

Thanks for the quick reply! I visually inspected the calipers, but didn't check for sticking specifically. How did you diagnose that?

Well, the mechanic noticed during a routine inspection, to be honest. I hadn't really put my finger on it. If you're getting unusual feedback, and the pads are okay, it's worth having a workshop take a closer look at the whole brake system, especially the calipers and the hydraulic components.

Took your advice and had the brake calipers checked. Turns out that was indeed the problem. Replaced them, along with the brake fluid. Total cost was 240€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
