Rifter Clutch Pedal Switch Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2021 Peugeot Rifter, gasoline engine, with 82356 km. The error memory says it's the clutch pedal switch. The gear selection display in the speedometer is blank, cruise control doesn't work, and sometimes it won't start. I think it might be a bad cable or plug connection to the clutch pedal switch.

I had similar symptoms in my Rifter. The gear selection display went blank, cruise control failed, and it occasionally wouldn't start. Did you check the connection to the clutch switch itself? That fixed it for me.

Thanks. Can you tell me which connection you checked? Was it visibly damaged, or did you test the connector or wiring?

I didn't test anything. I just wiggled the connector at the clutch pedal, and it started working again. Then I took it to my local workshop, and they said the switch was faulty. You should go to a workshop to be sure the problem doesn't come back.

Thanks, I'll check the clutch pedal switch connector and wiring. I replaced the switch, and it cost 95€. If the problem comes back, I'll take it to a workshop.
