Thanks for the reply! When you say similar, do you mean exactly the same symptoms, and was it also a stored error code? And when you found a defective cable or a plug connection - was it easy to access? Do you remember where it was located and how you solved the issue? I am just trying to understand if it is worth checking myself or if I should just go to a workshop.

Yeah, same symptoms: cruise control dead, stored error, no warnings on the dash while driving. To be honest, I'm not mechanically inclined enough to fix it myself. I took it to a workshop who told me it was a defective cable or a plug connection and they sorted it out quickly. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. It'll save you the headache of potentially messing something else up.

Thanks for confirming! I think I'll follow your advice and get it looked at by a professional. The garage identified a defective cable or a plug connection of the cruise control component and they fixed it for 95€. Now the cruise control is working as expected again.

Cruise control issues are annoying, aren't they? I had a similar problem with my Rifter. I didn't get any dash warnings either, just a stored error code when I scanned it. Did you check all the fuses in the fuse box? Sometimes the diagrams are misleading, and a fuse for something seemingly unrelated can affect the cruise control. It could also be a defective cable or a plug connection.
