Rifter Cylinder Pressure Fluctuation

Thanks! No distinct engine knocking, but the idle is rougher. How can I check the timing belt without taking everything apart? Is there a simple home test for the fuel injectors, or should I see a professional?

Checking the timing belt properly usually requires partial disassembly, but visually inspect it for wear if you can access it. There are DIY injector tests measuring fuel return, but with those symptoms and mileage, get it checked by a workshop with diagnostic equipment. The cylinder pressure issue could be minor, or a consequential error!

Thanks! I brought it to a workshop. It was a consequential error, but the repair cost was surprisingly 0€, they just reset a sensor. I appreciate the help.

I also drive a Rifter, and your symptoms sound familiar to an issue I had. Cylinder pressure fluctuation is tricky. Did you notice any unusual engine knocking or misfires before the check engine light? Check the fuel injectors, piston rings or even the head gasket. Could the timing belt be the culprit?
