Rifter Door Lock Fault

Hi, I've got a 2022 Peugeot Rifter diesel with 200376 km on the clock. Recently, the doors have stopped locking and unlocking. It seems like the door contact signal is faulty. I've checked all the fuses and can't see any obvious damage to the wiring harness, but I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on where to start digging before I reluctantly take it to a garage?

I had a similar problem with my Rifter. The symptoms sound very familiar. Did the car alarm go off randomly as well?

That's interesting. No, the car alarm hasn't gone off randomly. But it's probably related, isn't it? Where exactly was the problem on your Rifter?

In my case, the random car alarm issue was definitely linked. It turned out to be a faulty door latch. I would advise visiting a workshop to get it checked out.

Thanks for the info. I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – faulty door latch, cable connection issue. Repair cost 95€ Appreciate the help!
