Rifter DPF Issues

Thank you for the insight. Fuel efficiency does seem lower than usual, but no unusual smells. The garage mentioned regeneration might be the issue, or possibly a sensor fault. Was regeneration the solution in your case, or was replacement necessary?

Regeneration didn't solve it. It was attempted several times, but the problem persisted. The filter was too far gone. Ended up replacing it. It will require a workshop visit. Have them check the DPF pressure sensor too.

Appreciate the detailed advice. I took it to the workshop and they confirmed a defective diesel particulate filter. Repair cost is estimated at 1550€. Undergoing replacement. Thank you!

Sounds familiar. I had similar problems with my old Vauxhall Astra; symptoms were nearly identical. It ended up being a blocked DPF, triggering similar issues and some sensor faults related to the exhaust system. Have you checked for any unusual smells or a drop in your fuel efficiency?
