Rifter reduced engine power

Hi, I've got a 2020 Peugeot Rifter with a gasoline engine that's playing up. I'm getting reduced engine power and the car diagnostics say there's an error stored. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what I should check?

The symptoms you describe, accompanied by a stored error, suggest a potential issue with the engine control unit (ECU). Have you noticed any other unusual behavior, such as difficulty starting or unusual fuel consumption? Have you attempted any system resets?

Thanks for the reply! Starting seems normal, and fuel consumption is about the same as always. I haven't tried any system resets - I'm not really sure how to do that, to be honest. Where would I even start?

Given your description and lack of experience with system resets, it's advisable to consult a qualified workshop. The defective main relay can lead to ECU malfunction. A professional car diagnostics check can pinpoint the problem and ensure correct repair procedures are followed.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – it was the main relay causing the ECU issue. Repair cost was 120€. Appreciate the help!
