RNessa Electrical Malfunctions
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Nissan RNessa is experiencing electrical malfunctions, including onboard diagnostics errors and a non-functional navigation system. The suspected causes are a software bug in the control unit's programming or a faulty control module. A suggested solution is to visit a workshop for a software refresh, which could resolve the issue.

No specific codes I can put my finger on. Just says 'Error stored in the error memory', which isn't much help. Did yours have the same vague error message?

Yep, that generic error thing rings a bell. Ended up being a real headache. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop. Sounds like your control unit's programming is implausible. They should be able to sort it with a software refresh, hopefully. Just be prepared for a bill around 240€.

Right, a workshop visit it is then. Thanks for confirming! Appreciate the insight.

Sounds familiar. I've got an RNessa too. Had similar issues a while back. Was it throwing any specific error codes?
