RNessa engine stall at idle

My 2000 Nissan RNessa with a gasoline engine has 204963 km. The check engine light comes on sometimes, and the engine sometimes stalls when it's idling. I think it might be the tank ventilation valve because the hoses might be clogged. Has anyone else had this?

Oh, that sounds familiar! I have an RNessa too, and I had something kinda like that happen. My engine light was on, and it was idling rough. Did you check your gas cap? Sometimes that can cause weird ventilation problems.

Yeah, the engine light and rough idle were the main things. I'm no mechanic, but after a bunch of messing around I ended up taking it to a shop. They said something about a valve and hoses being clogged. Honestly, it was over my head. Maybe just get it checked out?

Thanks, I took it to a mechanic like you said. It was clogged hoses on the tank ventilation valve, like I thought. It cost 175€ to fix, including new parts. Thanks for sharing.
