RNessa Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

Thanks for the quick response. I've visually inspected the air valves and they appear to be in good condition. The error message is consistent - it's always there when the car is running. If it's a sensor battery issue, is replacement the only option?

Since the error is persistent and the air valves look okay, it pretty much confirms a sensor malfunction, most probably the battery. Imagine a light bulb that's burned out. You can jiggle it, clean the contacts, but ultimately, you need a new bulb. I'd suggest visiting a workshop to have the sensors professionally diagnosed and replaced. They can also properly reset the system. It is better to spend a little bit of money than driving around with constant annoying warnings.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop as suggested. The sensor was indeed faulty due to battery depletion. The replacement, including installation and error reset, cost 280€. Everything is now working as it should.

Greetings. The symptoms you describe strongly suggest a faulty tire pressure sensor. It's like a smoke alarm with a low battery, beeping incessantly! Given the car's age and mileage, a depleted sensor battery is indeed a likely culprit. Have you tried checking the air valves for any physical damage or corrosion? And does the error message appear consistently, or intermittently?
