Rogue AC Not Cooling

AC not cooling at all in my 2011 Nissan Rogue with a gasoline engine. It's got about 115,000 km on it. When I turn it on, nothing happens – no cold air, no change in the engine sound. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. I suspect it might be individual valves in the AC system, but I'm not sure where to start.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra, though a much older model. The AC just gave up. Did you check for any refrigerant leaks? That was the culprit in my case.

I didn't find it myself, to be honest. I took it to a workshop. They used some dye and a UV light to pinpoint the leak. Turned out to be a faulty valve. Given your suspicions, might be worth getting it professionally checked.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a faulty valve in the AC system, causing a refrigerant leak. Cost me about 1000€ to get it fixed, but at least I have cold air again!
