Rogue Climate Control Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Nissan Rogue is experiencing a climate control failure, with the panel appearing dead, heating barely functioning, and the AC not turning on, despite fuses being intact. A potential cause could be a bad electrical connection to the climate control panel. It is suggested to check the cable and plug connections, but due to the complexity, taking the vehicle to a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Thanks! Where should I look for these connections? Can I easily access them, or do I need to take apart the dashboard? I wouldn't want to break anything!

It's hard to say exactly without seeing your car. In my Peugeot, the connections were behind the central console, which required some disassembly. Given your symptoms and the stored error, I'd advise you to take it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly. I ended up paying around 100€ for the repair.

Thanks so much! I'll take it to the workshop and mention the connection issue. Hopefully, it's something simple and not too expensive. The estimated repair cost is 95€, so your experience makes me hopeful it will be a similar amount. I appreciate your advice!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 308. It turned out to be a bad electrical connection. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the climate control panel? It might save you money if it's just a loose wire.
